Perl Mova + YAPC::Russia 2010 in Kiev

June 12–14, 2010

Perl Mova + YAPC::Russia 2010 is the event which joins annual “Perl Mova” Ukrainian Perl workshop and YAPC::Russia conference. It is due to happen on 12–14 June, 2010 in Kiev, Ukraine.

Programme

The first two days of the conference are for hackmeet, talks and lightning talks. On the third one—river trip on Dnepr.

The conference is hosted by GL-Club, which is located at Nokolaya Grinchenko str., 2/1, 5th floor.

Dnipro river trip

River trip takes place on 14th of June from 10 to 18 local time. Starting and finishing points are at the main riversite station of Kiev (metro Poshtova Plosha). You can pay for it directly from yor personal profile.

Hackmeet

There will be a few different groups on the hackmeet. We've got the following proposals:

AnyEvent—Naim's benchmark, falks can touch event based development and Mons will help :)
Ruslan has endless TODO on Devel::PPAP;
Rakudo with Jonathan;
Mojo with Sharifulin and Yura, we can explore the framework itself, or take it and build something with it.

Lingua

Primary languages of the wokrshop are Ukrainian and Russian. English talks are also accepted.

Visas

People from the EU, USA, Canada, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Japan, Andorra, Vatican, Iceland, Monaco, Norway and San Marino may visit Ukraine without visas. Just jump into the plain! More information about how to get to Kiev you may find at Go2Kiev.com web-site. Hotels are also listed there.
